Qi Zhang The 44th Lorne Conference on Protein Structure and Function 2019

Qi Zhang

Qi Zhang is a structural and molecular biologist who currently holds an NHMRC EL1 Investigator Grant (2021-2025) and a past ARC DECRA Fellow (2018-2020). Dr Zhang has a track record of 13 years studying the structure-function relationship of epigenetic modifiers, with a current focus on the interplay between histone marks of facultative and constitutive chromatin. She solved and deposited 21 high-resolution crystal structures to the Protein Data Bank (PDB) and disseminated her findings in research articles published in high-impact and quality journals, including in Nature SMB, PNAS, Nature Comm, Cell Res, Nucleic Acids Res and Gene Dev.
