Luke A Adams

Dr Luke Adams received his MSci and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bristol, UK. He then continued his career as a postdoctoral scientist at Colorado State University where he designed the route to and completed the synthesis of a complex natural product. Several years of research in an industrial setting were to follow: Syngenta (2005-2006), CellAura Technologies (2006-2009), Peakdale Molecular (2009-2012). Luke is currently a research fellow in medicinal chemistry at Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His research focuses on the development of chemical probes and inhibitors for bacterial targets utilising Fragment Based Drug Discovery methods.
